Nuclear Medicine is a medical specialty involving the application of radioactive tracers in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) and position emission tomography (PET) scans are the most common imaging modalities in Nuclear Medicine.
Our Nuclear Medicine unit was established in 1989 to meet the pressing need of the local market for having access to non-invasive and practical cutting-edge technologies for early detection and diagnosis of cancer. AFMS was the first company to get radioactive import license in Saudi Arabia. Today, AFMS in partnership with well-known international manufacturers, is a market leader in KSA offering its customers a comprehensive portfolio of radiopharmaceuticals, radioactive isotopes, highly specialized imaging equipment and consumables. Its best in class service, unmatched reliability and compliance to highest regulatory standards enables it to meet diverse needs of customers across the Kingdom.
