In 1998 after the acquisition of Sire Analytical Systems, Alifax asserts its position in the Italian market as a producer of clinical diagnostic instrumentation for the analysis of Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate and
rapid bacterial culture. This is the inception of a rapid and successful development worldwide.
Nowadays Alifax is present with 5 subsidiaries in Russia, Spain, China, Brazil and Germany with a distribution network that includes more than 100 countries around the world.
Alifax owns a collection of numerous patents worldwide in hematology and bacteriology fields and more than 200 scientific publications have been published on its technology and instruments.
