AFMS partners with STEMCELL™ Technologies Inc. to provide an immense range of products that can assist your downstream applications and enhance your scientific end results. We are committed to improving lives through advanced knowledge and scientific discovery.
STEMCELL Technologies provides high-quality cell culture media, cell separation technologies, instruments, accessory products, and educational resources to scientists working on stem cell, immunology, cancer, regenerative medicine, and cellular therapy research.
STEMCELL also provides cytokines, antibodies, training courses, proficiency testing and contract assay services.
In general, STEMCELL Technologies reagents support cancer research, cell therapy and regenerative medicine research, organoid and spheroid cultures, cell line development, hybridoma generation, HIV research, HLA research, chimerism analysis and cord blood banking.
STEMCELL has developed culture media for the maintenance, differentiation, and reprogramming of different cell types, including pluripotent stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, hematopoietic stem cells, neural stem cells, intestinal epithelial cells, mammary epithelial cells, airway epithelial cells, prostate epithelial cells, pancreatic cells & endothelial cells.
STEMCELL also commercializes media and reagent kits for the growth and differentiation of a variety of organoids, including kidney, brain, and intestinal organoids.
STEMCELL has developed technologies for isolating cells of interest from mixed populations. These include EasySep™, a column-free cell separation technology that uses magnetically labeled antibodies to capture specific cells from samples such as blood. This immunomagnetic cell separation process can also be automated using RoboSep™ instrument.
STEMCELL also offers products for isolating cells using density gradient centrifugation, such as SepMate™ tubes for isolating peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs).
Human primary cells are cells isolated directly from human tissues, including blood and bone marrow. They are established as an important tool for in vitro cell-based assays or for generating in vivo models, such as xenograft or humanized mice.
STEMCELL offers a variety of cell products, including primary and cultured cells, blood and bone marrow products, and organoids. This includes cells from individuals with diseases, such as cancer, which are used for disease progression, disease research and drug discovery.
